Ciao!

I am Francesco Pompò, an independent IT Security Researcher and Developer.

I enjoy breaking things and seeing how they are made. I also like to produce documentation about it.

Sometimes I break things that nobody cares about, and that is as funny as it sounds.

I like to learn about topics related to my field of interest; I can’t help but keep assimilating information about any matter concerning IT security. This, for example, led me to rewrite the client portion of Tor as a PoC and to build a network scanner.

My knowledge makes me a good resource for my peers, as I have often already faced a problem that another person is working on.

In a business context, I often find myself spending more time talking with people than actually sitting at the computer.

It’s easy to tell if I am up to something: if my life is messy, the answer is yes.

I created this blog to hopefully concentrate all the information I go through, also as an exercise to memorize it better by writing notes about it.
