Ciao!
I am Francesco Pompò, an independent IT Security Researcher and Developer.
I enjoy breaking stuff and seeing how it’s made. I also like to produce documentation about it.
Sometimes I break things that nobody cares about, and that sounds as funny as it is.
I like to learn about stuff related to my field of interest, I can’t help but keep assimilating information about any matter that concerns IT security. This, for example, made me rewrite the client portion of Tor for a PoC and a network scanner.
My knowledge makes me a good resource for my peers, as oftentimes I’ve already faced a problem another person is working on.
Within the business context I often find myself spending more time speaking with people than actually staying at the computer.
It’s easy to tell if I am up to something. If my life is messy, then the response is yes.
